One of our most asked questions! How will you know which ceramic is mine? So, for our final part of the series we thought we would talk you through all the steps that we take to make sure that the ceramic you paint is wrapped up in a bag with your name on it ready to collect 7 days later.
As we mentioned in our This is how it works- painting blog, when you have finished painting we will pop a little code on the bottom which tells us which ceramic is yours. We will then ask you to fill out one of our forms with some more details, like your name and phone number. After that, your ceramic will be glazed and fired and when it is fully cooled down its placed in our packing cupboard.
We will then identify up your ceramics using the picture (which we have attached to the details you gave us) and the code on your ceramic. We write the name you put in our system on the bag (the only thing you have to remember when you come in to collect!) and hang it on our collection wall.
And that concludes our series on This is how it works! Hopefully we have shown you the many, many, many (many!) steps to making sure that the ceramics are ready for you 7 days later, and these are all taken by our amazing hard working team at Punk Me Up, as well as making sure you have a fun time painting, providing teas and coffees for you and I haven’t even mentioned the other little things like birthday parties, clay imprints, custom painting…. I could go on!
So , if you have ever seen one of our staff members in the shop when we are closed, or wondered why we are closed on Wednesdays but you can still see us in the shop occasionally, we hope you can see how much behind- the -scenes work there is!
