In my last blog I wrote about approaching the year ahead and focusing on what was lost/forgotten so it seems a natural progression that we as a team pay attention to our skills and remember who we are apart from the ‘ladies that do footprints’.
Did you know that our team consists of professional illustrators, artists, a chef, graphic designers, linguists, a teacher, an actor, a dancer, a therapeutic arts counsellor, textile designers, an ice-skater and a musician. We all have in common that we have a creative itch that needs scratching and I can safely say that every single one of us are Nice Humans or we wouldn’t be here.
So if you’re wondering what you can expect from Little Punks sessions, you’re in for a treat…
Paying attention to the words of Maya Angelou we’ve re-visited our Little Punks offer and added in a whole load of Arts based excitement and freed ourselves from the constraints of the ceramics side of our business.
We’re bursting to tell you what we’ve got planned but just in the next few weeks on the main table/floor you can expect to explore screen-printing, set-design, giant modelling, some Charlotte Mei inspired plate-making(we didn’t say no ceramics) as well as the weekly staples of collaborative colouring/sensory play a collage table AND easels.
All of our activities will teach core Art Skills but be inspired by popular culture and we have some house rules… but you’ll need to keep an eye out for our next blog for those.
